When and Where
The WA Indoor Rowing Championships will be held at
Location: Swan Yacht Club, Riverside Road, East Fremantle
Date: 24 August 2019
The Swan Yacht Club will have a buffet and drinks available all day, and we encourage you to bring friends and family to this awesome event and enjoy a meal after your race.
Dress restriction do apply when entering the restaurant and bar areas, this includes appropriate footwear, T-shirt, and shorts . No singlets, bare chests, or just zootsuits will be allowed inside, thank you.
Distances, Age Groups, Weight Categories
Distances: 500m, 1000m, 2000m, 30 second sprint
Open categories are: 19-29 years, 30-39 years,
40-49 years, 50-54 years, 55-59 years, 60-64 years, 65-69 years, 70-74 years, 75-79 years, 80-84 years, 85+ years
The 1000m race will be grouped by age categories (depending on entry numbers, some categories may be group together)
The 500m and 2000m will be grouped based on predicted finish time -
Please note all participants must provide a predicted finish time for these events when registering.
The 30 second sprint event is an exhibition event and we will be taking registrations and payment on the day (early registrations are available by clicking here and you can pay on the day).
The lightweight limits for rowers (age 17+) are:
Lightweight rowers need to be weighed not less than one hour and not more than two hours before their first race of each lightweight event in which they are competing.
Please Note: registration close midday 21st August - Limited on day registration will be available
RWA member - $7 Registration Fee + $5 per event (500m, 1000m, 2000m)
Non RWA member - $10 Registration Fee + $5 per event (500m, 1000m, 2000m)
30 Second Spint - $5 (register and enter on the day)
Register Now - Registrations close 20th August - no on day registration available
